Endless Sky is made by Michael Zahniser and a growing community of developers and content creators. It is a 2D space trading and combat game similar to the classic Escape Velocity series. Explore other star systems, earn money by trading, carrying passengers or completing missions, and spend your earnings on a better ship or upgraded weapons and engines. Hundreds of outfits let you customise your ship, trading off cargo space against energy, heat and firepower, and about 70 ship models are available in human space. Blow up pirates, take sides in a civil war or leave human space behind in search of alien civilisations. Downloads are available for Windows, macOS and Linux, and the game is also listed on Steam and GOG.
