Marketplace
The Oasis offers public browsing and free email-verified accounts while its marketplace and community features are being evaluated. Paid purchases are available for eligible games and connected creators. Concept examples are fictional listings and are not available to play or download.
Your account
You are responsible for activity through your account. Keep your sign-in credentials secure, provide accurate information and do not impersonate another person or studio. Community handles are public; sign-in email addresses are not included in the member directory. Sign-in uses Supabase email verification and secure session cookies.
Creator submissions & seller terms
Submit only games, mods, artwork and other assets that you own or are authorized to distribute. Keep ownership of your original work. By submitting, you permit The Oasis to host your submitted material and display it to review or feature your game. Describe system requirements, dependencies, base-game requirements, licenses and AI-assisted content accurately. Submission does not guarantee approval or promotion.
Fees & payments
Joining and submitting free games are free. The agreed platform fee is 10% of each sale when live payments launch. Under the configured destination-charge model, Stripe processing fees are deducted from the platform’s share. The checkout currency is USD. Taxes, the final seller agreement and production payout rules must be finalized before real sales are enabled.
Games, downloads & licenses
A game’s creator is responsible for the listing, license, updates and hosted download. A marketplace listing does not transfer ownership of its intellectual property. Review the creator’s license and required base game before playing or installing a mod. Do not redistribute paid games or assets unless the relevant license allows it. Some free games on The Oasis are third-party works distributed under open-source or Creative Commons licences. They remain under their original licences, and each listing shows its original creator, licence and, where the licence requires it, a link to the source code. To report a credit or licence problem, contact support.
Community rules
No harassment, hate, threats, fraud, spam, malware, piracy or unauthorized access to games, accounts or systems. AI game experimentation and modding must respect applicable permissions and distribution rights. Do not post payment secrets, passwords or personal information about someone else. You can report messages, block direct-message senders or contact Support.
Review, reports & access
The Oasis can review submissions and investigate reported content. Moderation should be proportionate to the issue; access or content may be restricted to address abuse, security issues or rights complaints. Contact Support if you believe a decision is incorrect. Community messages can be reviewed when reported; support requests are accessible to Oasis administrators.
Consumer rights & refunds
Nothing in these beta terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. Faulty products can give rise to statutory remedies regardless of a store’s voluntary refund policy. Paid purchases are available for eligible games and connected creators. Contact Support with a purchase or payment issue; a production refund policy must be published before real sales begin.
Australian consumer rights — ACCCPrivacy & data
The service saves game submissions, community profiles, conversations, notifications, support requests and order records. Room messages are shared with signed-in room members. Direct messages are restricted to their participants, except that a reported message is shared with moderators for review; support requests are also accessible to administrators. Messaging is not end-to-end encrypted. Stripe collects payment and payout details through its hosted flows. Administrator Stripe keys are encrypted before storage. Contact Support to request account or data assistance. A full production privacy notice, retention policy and operator details are pending launch review.
Updates & contact
These terms are a draft for the marketplace preview, last updated 2 October 2026. Material changes should be communicated before they take effect. The production legal operator, contact address, governing-law provisions and final policies must be confirmed before public launch. For beta questions, use the in-app Support centre.
