Ancient Beast is made by Freezing Moon, a project led by Dread Knight with a community of open-source contributors and artists. Each player commands a Dark Priest who summons a roster of strange creatures, and every creature has its own abilities, so positioning, timing and combinations decide the match. Before a match you can set the game mode, plasma points, turn time and number of active units, and play hot-seat with a friend on one computer. The game is in alpha (v0.5.1) and keeps evolving.
