Flare: Empyrean Campaign

Flare: Empyrean Campaign is made by the Flare team; the Flare engine was created by Clint Bellanger and has gathered several contributors over the years. It is an open-source, single-player 2D action RPG whose gameplay can be likened to the games in the Diablo series. The Empyrean Campaign begins with your character exiled from their homeland of Empyrean, and follows your quest to regain entry through many regions, with plenty of side quests along the way. Version 1.15 is available for Windows, macOS and Linux, and version 1.14 can be played right in your browser through the official itch.io web version. The engine also has a modding interface that can be used to create entirely new games.
