Guide Dr. Eval through a mysterious machine continuum by editing the very JavaScript that runs each level. A clever, funny browser puzzle game.
Untrusted is made by Alex Nisnevich and Greg Shuflin. It is a meta-JavaScript adventure game: each level appears as a roguelike-like playing field next to a console showing the JavaScript that generates it. As loaded, every level is unbeatable and most of the code is locked, so you must use the few editable lines to open a path to the exit and help Dr. Eval find his freedom. It runs in your browser on the official site, with a soundtrack drawn from a range of artists, and the project also supports bonus levels and mods. You can send the creators some beer money with the Donate button on the site.
